Costumes & Classroom Attire

Primarily, the Navel Academy is in the business of selling costume items and classroom attire at affordable prices strictly as a service to our own students.  We have discontinued sales to the general public, and we do not promote ourselves as a full-service vendor.  Because we don’t incur the same level of operating costs that a typical vendor does, our student discount prices average 15%-20% below the major vendor prices.  But again, this is a courtesy to our own students only.

►    Moondance Belly Dance:  Costumes and classroom attire; nice quality for very reasonable prices; excellent selection;
       group discounts; very accommodating service.

 

►    Sugar Petals:  Best source for body stockings (flesh colors) and powernet unitards.  Cheaper knock-offs don’t compare
       to the quality of their original designs. 

 

►    L.Rose Designs:  Reasonable prices for custom designs — choose the pattern and the fabric.  Turn-around time can be
       slow, however, because they have so many orders to fill.

 

►    Discount Dance Supply:  Excellent source for classroom attire and shoes.  However, belly dance accessories are not
       priced as competitively as their regular line of merchandise. 

 

►    Akai Silks:  Best source online for silk veils; prices and quality are excellent; group discounts.

 

►    Dahlal Internationale:  The crème de la crème of belly dance costuming.  Quality is top of the line, and prices reflect it.
       But they now carry a newer line of more affordable costumes which are excellent quality for reasonable prices.  Also a
